Product review: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Self-Tan

Let’s just get this out of the way: I am pasty. I burn at the slightest hint of the sun. The glow of my skin has been known to cause blindness in children. But, still, I love the look of a summer tan — mostly because I think it makes me look thinner.

BRONZANZA A gorgeous, subtle color, no streaking at all.

BRONZE MEDAL: A gorgeous, subtle color, no streaking at all.

However, I haven’t had the best track record with self-tanners. I’ve been sprayed by machines and by hand. I’ve used all sorts of different lotions. And while the color they provide is generally pretty nice and natural-looking, they usually streak and they always stink.

So, I was absolutely thrilled when I discovered Estee Lauder’s new Bronze Goddess line. A gorgeous, subtle color, no streaking at all and — you’ll never believe this — NO foul smell!

I actually like the hint of beachy fragrance. My husband says it smells like baby powder. And the color deepens the more you use it. No more blinding incidents in my future — I’ll be a bronze goddess by summer’s end.
