What you’re saying about us
Denver Post columnist (and my former Rocky Mountain News co-worker) Penny Parker gave us a nice mention in today’s newspaper.
At first, former Rocky Mountain News fashionista Lesley Kennedy got sad, then she got going.
After her zillionth resume went unanswered, she toyed with the idea of setting up a tips-and-advice website.
“After the Rocky closed, people kept asking me what my dream job would be, and my answer was always, ‘Well, I was doing it,’ ” she said. She started brainstorming with Rocky assistant multimedia editor Joe Mahoney, and denveralamode.com was born and launched June 19.
