The ice cream:We’ve been known to take down a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Chubby Hubby. Or Cherry Garcia. Or Phish Food. But sometimes it’s fun to create your own flavor. That’s why going to a B&J storefront for a shake on a hot summer night is so refreshing. We mixed Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz with chocolate ice cream, topped with crushed Oreos and whipped cream. Unbelievable.

The bargain: Sidewalk and summer sales are in full swing and there are HUGE deals to be found. I stocked up on basics at Urban Outfitters at Cherry Creek Shopping Center last week — 50 percent off already reduced items. I walked with four cute tops for less than $50 total.
