Flavors of the week: Kreme Koolers, Little Feet shoe sale

Each week, we spotlight a favorite ice cream and a super-sweet deal. This week (July 12 – July 19):

The ice cream: Lucerne Kreme Koolers. When it’s hot, nothing satisfies like a popsicle wrapped around vanilla ice cream. This Safeway version comes in orange, grape, lime and (our fave) cherry and the ice cream is low fat. Best of all — get this — just 45 calories per pop. We’ll take two, please.

The bargain: If your little ones outgrow their shoes as quickly as ours do, get them over to Little Feet, 201 University Blvd, #103, for the store’s Semi-Annual Clearance Sale.  During July, (which happens to coincide with Little Feet’s 16th anniversary), all merchandise throughout the store is on sale.  Look for all shoes will priced at either 15 percent off, or for $25 per pair.  The sale runs through Saturday, Aug. 1.
