We’ve waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, Project Runway makes its TV return tonight over on Lifetime.
And, no, Lifetime doesn’t believe just one show based on the series formerly shown on Bravo is quite enough. Pop some corn, send the kids to bed early and get cozy. You’ve got four hours of TV to watch.
It all starts at 6 p.m. with a two-hour special, Project Runway: All Star Challenge. Eight past contestants return to compete again. Oh, how we’ve missed you, Mr. McCarroll. Santino? You’ve been gone far too long. We’d all but forgotten about Sweet P and Uli and Korto and Mychael Knight. We just hope little Daniel Vosovic is somehow paired up with teddy bear Chris March. Oh, it is on!
Then, at 8 p.m., it’s the Project Runwaypremiere. Sixteen newbies will try not to get “auf’ed” by Heidi Klum. It’s about time Tim Gunn makes a weekly return to our lives.
And, after Runway, stay tuned for Models of the Runway, a companion show that features the pretty faces who stride the catwalk. It’s about time these chicks got their own show!
