NY Fashion Week – Amanda Bynes talks shoes

Amanda Bynes is way tall. And pretty. With truly great hair. She’s got that quirky cute girl who acts kinda dorky vibe.

Before the Jill Stuart show Monday, I thought she looked pretty adorable. So, I asked her what her most recent fashion purchase was (secretly thinking maybe I could copy her.)

“That’s a really hard question that I can’t even answer at the moment,” she said. ”I’m sorry.”

OK, so we all draw blanks sometimes. So, let’s try this: What do you want to buy for fall?

“I’d like a new pair of YSL pumps,” said. Atta girl! ”That might be my next purchase. I love platforms. I used to not, and now that’s all I wear. I love them.”

I’m with you, Amanda. Tho, YSL pumps are slightly beyond my budget.

Bynes is a regular at Stuart’s shows. What’s the draw?

“I love the way that they fit,” she said of the designer’s clothes. ”They’re really feminine and pretty and really well made, for sure.”

Up next?

“I just filmed a movie called Easy A,” she says. With co-stars like Penn Badgley, Stanley Tucci, Thomas Hayden Church and Patricia Clarkson, I’m guessing there could be several pairs of high-end shoes making their way into Bynes’ closet soon.
