We thought the Snuggie craze had pretty much gone away. In fact, we were betting that Winkers would be the new bizarre-sort-of-fashion-definitely-weird fad du jour.
But, just when you turn your open back on the wearable blanket, it fights its way right back.
New York magazine’s The Cut blog reports today that they have received an invitation to a Snuggie Fashion Week show.
Here’s what they say the invite reads:
Amid the glitz and glamour of New York Fashion Week, Snuggie™ will host a runway show of its own, taking center stage to showcase the latest colors, fabrics and patterns. Celebrity host Ross “The Intern” Mathews will dish about the sexiest looks in blanket-wear and adult, kid and even canine models will hit the runway.
Did you read that? It says “sexiest looks” “Ross The Intern” and “canine models.” In one sentence. Oh, please, please fashion gods, let our invitation be in the mail.
