Style spy @ Monolith Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre
By Lesley Kennedy
A little rain — OK, a lot of rain — and cold temps — 43 degrees, thank you very much — couldn’t keep die-hard indie music fans from rocking out at the third annual Monolith Festival Saturday.
Red Rocks may have been soaking wet — seriously, there were practically waterfalls rolling off the rocks — but style still managed to shine through the less than desirable weather.
While many fans covered up with ponchos and fall and winter jackets, we saw plenty of cute (albeit soaked) shoes and boots, funky hair-dos and colorful ensembles. We braved the rain (umbrella in hand, of course) and prowled the grounds — which boasted five stages — to find some seriously fashionable folks.
Rock on!
