Learn the ‘Thriller’ dance in time for Halloween

We don’t about you, but firing up Michael Jackson’s legendary Thriller video on YouTube has become a Halloween tradition in our home.

Admit it: You know you’ve tried to bust a move from the famous Thriller zombie dance sequence a time or two. Especially after that hilarious Jennifer Garner scene in 13 Going on 30. Yeah, we thought so.

So, here’s your chance to learn it for real — and get an awesome workout in, as well. (Uh-huh, we know how tempting that candy corn is this time of year. And mini Snickers bars? Mini Twix? Mini anything? Forget it.)

Halloween morning (Oct. 31), we’ll be embarrassing ourselves — but having lots of fun — at Forza Fitness and Performance Club, 1849 Curtis St.  Denver trainer Anne Parker will be teaching the Thriller dance, along with a fun boot camp style workout, from 10 a.m. to noon.  Cost is $35 per person, with 100 percent of proceeds going to Denver Kids Inc.

Bring your friends and your kids (all ages are welcome) to support a great cause and kick off the Halloween festivities. And you don’t have to feel guilty about all those treats you’ll eat that night. We expect our Thriller moves to scare small children and adults, alike!

RSVP to Forza Fitness and Performance at 303-294-9494.

To get you in the mood, check out this Thriller world record performance that took place in Los Angeles Oct. 24:

And, we can’t resist one more:
