We’re sweet on … Cj by Cookie Johnson jeans

So, I first wrote about Cj by Cookie Johnson jeans back in August, when the new premium denim brand was finding its footing.

Johnson (she’s NBA legend Magic’s wife) teamed with Michael Glasser (the man behind Citizens of Humanity, Seven for All Mankind and Rich & Skinny) to create jeans for women with curves. I tried them out for myself, and instantly fell in love. They have just the right amount of stretch, are a little higher in the back and really do flatter those of us — make that most of us — who aren’t stick straight size twos.

And, now, the jeans have received the holy grail of endorsements: Oprah Winfrey declared them her favorite jeans on her talk show last week. Read my interview with Johnson, done the day after her Oprah appearance.
