The holiday fashion show season is under way!
One to check out: Mona Lucero will host two holiday presentations at the Mona Lucero Design Boutique, 2544 15th St., Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Here’s what the release promises: The Holiday 2009 collection is a collage of elegant and funky designs inspired by such eclectic sources as Japanese kimonos, retro circle skirts, punk, mod and Queen Elizabeth. With a potent cocktail of black, red and gray and generous splashes of bright color, it promises to be a spirited show.
Hair and makeup will be created by Tuana Hair Design and the award-winning Brows on Upper 15th Street.
And, mark your calendars now for Dec. 19, when Amy Kahn Jewelry will be presenting a trunk show at the boutique all day starting at 10 a.m.
Kahn, a Denver jewelry designer, will be in the store from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Drinks, appetizers and shopping all day.
