I Heart Denver window displays bring holiday style to town

We love checking out the holiday window displays at famous department stores in New York — think Saks, Barney’s, Macy’s. There’s even a Smithsonian exhibit going on right now paying homage to the business of commercial displays.
Now, Denver is getting in on the festive fashioning. Along with 303 magazine, local retailers will join in a three week event (Dec. 4 through Dec. 25).
Thirty set design professionals and students have volunteered their time and skills to aid in creating the I Heart Denver window displays, which can be viewed in six participating neighborhoods including Cherry Creek, Washington Park, Santa Fe Arts District, Larimer Square, Lower Highlands and Highlands Square.
Bundle up, bring your family (and cameras) and do a little neighborhood shopping and sight-seeing. Now, that’s the holiday spirit.
