New York Fashion Week – Marc Jacobs
It’s Fashion Week in New York. So what if it’s snowing up a storm? Designers are sill showing their hottest looks for fall 2010. The collections run from Feb. 11-18, and Denveralamode.com is here to bring you the highlights, the celebrity sightings and reports on all things stylish. Dig in — it’s calorie-free!
The designer: Marc Jacobs
The collection: One of the industry’s most influential designers, Jacobs solidified that fall’s wardrobes will be full of shades of gray. From a gray sweatshirt paired with a gray knee-length skirt and gray socks to a gray fur coat to a gray dress with a gray blazer, his clothes were somber, yet comforting.
There were some pops of color. A yellow sweater topped a long yellow evening gown. But, gray definitely dominated the collection. And it never looked so good.
