Paris Fashion Week – Balenciaga Attendess, Tres Chic!

So, what is it about French women and French fashion that is just so fabulously … well, French? We’re looking through photos taken of stylish folks before the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week, and, true, their bank accounts point and laugh at ours, and their glamorous jobs take them jet setting to Paris, while we work in a paneling-lined basement office, but sometimes you need a little inspiration.

Today, for example, we’re dressed in Gap jeans, Ugg slippers and a Michael Stars hoodie. So very American and so very uncool. But, perhaps tomorrow, we’ll throw on an easy vest, black leggings and our favorite oversized sunglasses. Who cares if our only outings planned for the day include an early morning pilates workout, a trip to school to pick up the kids and maybe pizza and beer with friends? We’ll be sure to order extra French fries like that.
