Photographers and editors from the Rocky Mountain News, including Denver a la mode co-founder Joe Mahoney, won an Emmy Award last night for their work documenting the last days of the News in early 2009.
The project’s contributors included Matthew Roberts, Sonya Doctorian, Wes Pop, Laressa Bachelor, Janet Reeves, Jim Trotter, John Temple and Mahoney.
Also making it’s mark with award-winning video was The Denver Post which won with its project on childhood poverty in Colorado.
